  • English EOC Testing
    We will be administering the state mandated English EOC tests this week.  Tuesday -- English I and Thursday -- English II.  If your child is enrolled in an English I or English II class or did not meet the standard on a previous administration, he/she will be required to test this week.  Help your child by ensuring he/she gets a good night sleep and eats breakfast before testing.

     

    Both English EOC tests are part of the graduation requirements.

  • Saturday School
    Saturday Sessions will take place on April 1, 8, 22, and 29 from 8:30-12:00.  We will have EOC tutorial sessions for Algebra I, Biology, US History, Credit Recovery, and ESL academies. If you child did not meet the expectations on the Dec. EOC or the February Benchmark, please make plans for your child to attend. Transportation is available.
  • TSI
    The next TSI is scheduled for April 29, 2017.  Students must register in the Financial Aid office.  Picture ID is required at the time of testing.  Tutorials are available after school.
  • Fine Arts Notes

     

    Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Winter Guards for qualifying for TECA State Championships next weekend in Kingsville.  The placed 1st & 3rd, respectively this week at the South Zone Championships at ENHS. The Winds have also qualified for State championships.

     

    Ritmo Dorado received a Division 1 rating at the Rio Grande Valley Dance Festival.

  • ENHS JROTC

    ENHS JROTC passed their Cadet Command Inspection with a 93.75% . Congratulations to our cadets!

  • Golden Spurs

    The Golden Spurs attended the ShowTime International Dance Contest in Galveston, Texas this weekend. They earned several individual and officer awards in addition to the following team awards: 1st place National Champions Military routine; 2nd place in Pom routine; 2nd place in Jazz routine; and 2nd place in Contemporary routine!  Congratulations to the ladies and their sponsors!

  • Academic UIL

     Our UIL Academic Team earned the 2nd place finish at the District Meet.  We had six teams earn the first place trophy: Computer Science, Number Sense, Spelling, Current Events, Social Studies, Literary Criticism. Emily Rios 1st place in Poetry!  Lots of individual medals and ribbons! Cougar Proud!  Congratulations to students and coaches!
