Semester Exams are scheduled for Dec. 16-19.  The essay portion will be assigned on Dec. 16 and 17.  The rest of the exam will take place on Dec. 18 and 19.  Students are allowed to exempt a final exam if they meet the eligibility criteria. Students must be in attendance even if they are exempt.


 

Students will be released at 2:30 on Dec. 19th.  Please make arrangements for early release.


Five more students advanced to the area for the All-State audition.  Congratulations to Blake and Kevin Hernandez, Adrian Leal, David Sanchez, and Renee Champion!


The ENHS Girls’ Swim Team placed 1st at swim meet on Dec. 6th.  Congratulations!


Our Academic UIL continues to dominate.  Number Sense, Math, Calculator, Science and Computer Science all reported 1st place team finishes at the Veteran’s Memorial Meet!  Congratulations to students and sponsors!

Saturday classes will take place from 8:00-12:00.  Breakfast will be provided.  The focus of instruction will be EOC: English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and US History. Saturday school will resume on January 24th.  Transportation will be provided. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Moran at 289-2500.


 

Progress reports for the 2nd six weeks should be mailed out by Tuesday, Oct. 28th.  We also encourage all parents to sign up for Family Access to Skyward to keep up with students grades and attendance.


Seniors are currently participating in an Apply Texas drive. All seniors are encouraged to apply to at least 3 colleges or universities.


Congratulations Cougar Nation! TEA recognized our campus as meeting standards on all areas. In addition, we earned 6 out of 6 Distinction Designations when compared to other schools in our demographic group. We are very proud of everyone's contribution to academic excellence at Edinburg North.

Congratulations to the students and staff that participated in the Advanced Placement testing in Spring 2014! We had 305 students pass at least one AP test and 62 students earned AP Scholar honors! Great job!!

The Fine Arts department is presenting the Annual Holiday Extravaganza on Friday at 7 and Saturday at 1:30 and 4.  .  The orchestra and choir are also having individual concerts on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. Come out see our students share their talents
