For the 3rd time in ENHS Band history, we have qualified for the Texas UIL State Marching Contest!  We performed at both prelims & finals at the Area G Marching Contest in San Antonio.  The kids were incredible both performances.  We will be traveling on Nov. 4, for the State Contest at the Alamodome in San Antonio.   


 Join us for the Homecoming Fall Festival, Parade, and Burning of the "C" on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The game is Thursday against Pharr Memorial.


 

The ENHS Cross Country Teams will be participating in the Regional Meet on Nov. 1 in San Antonio.  Good luck to our dedicated runners!

 


 Congratulations to the Lady Cougars for the outstanding district season!  The playoffs are are the next step in the journey.  The first round is scheduled against Harlingen HS on Nov. 4th at 7:00 p.m at Harlingen High School (1201 E. Marshall).  Good Luck Lady Cougars!!

 


 

The ENHS UIL team competed at JEHS this weekend and brought home several 1st place team trophies: Math, Number Sense, Calculator, Science, Computer Science, and Social Studies. Individuals also placed first in Accounting, Computer Applications, and Poetry.  Great weekend UIL!


 

FOX RIO 2 / Chevy Valley Dealers "Battle of the Bands"

The ENHS Band is once again competing for our 3rd "Battle of the Bands" Title. www.foxrio2.com/bands You can vote everyday.


The ENHS HOSA is holding a Blood Drive on October 30 in the library. 


 

Saturday classes will take place from 8:00-12:00.  Breakfast will be provided.  The focus of instruction will be EOC: English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and US History. Students requiring retesting in December should attend these sessions.  If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Moran at 289-2500.


 

Progress reports for the 2nd six weeks should be mailed out by Tuesday, Oct. 28th.  We also encourage all parents to sign up for Family Access to Skyward to keep up with students grades and attendance.


Seniors are currently participating in an Apply Texas drive. All seniors are encouraged to apply to at least 3 colleges or universities.


Congratulations Cougar Nation! TEA recognized our campus as meeting standards on all areas. In addition, we earned 6 out of 6 Distinction Designations when compared to other schools in our demographic group. We are very proud of everyone's contribution to academic excellence at Edinburg North.

Congratulations to the students and staff that participated in the Advanced Placement testing in Spring 2014! We had 305 students pass at least one AP test and 62 students earned AP Scholar honors! Great job!!

Congratulations to the Lady Cougars on the win against Pharr Memorial!  Come out and support the Lady Cougars against the Economedes Lady Jaguars.  The final district game will take place at the ENHS Main Gym at 7:00 p.m.
